Using the program
What do I need to use the mousery database?
You only need an internet connection and Flash Player 9. The mousery database is not a program you run on your computer, it is a web-based application.

I have to scroll to do anything. What can I do?
This app is designed to run on monitors running at 1280x1024. That is the standard resolution of a 17" LCD monitor, and 17" CRT monitors shouldn't have any problem running that either.

I sent an adoption code to someone, but they never got it.
One of two things probably happened. Either the email address entered was wrong, or the message got filtered as spam. Be sure to add shan@mouserydatabase.com to your contacts or spam-safe list (aka whitelist).

I don't know the parents of a mouse. Should I add it anyway?
Absolutely. You don't need to choose parents for a mouse. On the pedigree, it will just show up as "unknown".
